Lynne Ellyn retired as the SVP and CIO of DTE Energy Company after 32 years in Information Technology Management. Leaving the corporate world, she is pursuing her passion as a coach, mentor, consultant, teacher and writer. She has worked in a diverse set of industries; Health Care, Automotive, High Tech, Consulting and Energy. She is frequently asked to speak to business groups, Information Technology organizations and women’s groups. Lynne is CEO and founder of Pasobilities Coaching and Consulting and her coaching method is based on the International Coaching Federation’s competency model. In Novemebr 2011, Lynne moved to the San Francisco Bay area and continues to offer coaching services throughout the U.S.
Lynne also does team based Information Technology consulting projects with the Cutter Consortium (www.Cutter.com). She specializes in helping clients build high performance teams and develop effective Information Technology strategy.
Lynne is available to provide coaching in your office or over the phone. She has the ability to incorporate experiential learning with horses – if the client wishes to explore their goals, challenges and strengths with the aid of an “equine coach”.
Lynne has owned Paso Fino horses for almost 30 years. Paso Fino means “fine steps” and this breed of horse is known for it’s smooth and graceful way of moving. It is from realizing her childhood dream of owning these horses that she was inspired to name her business, Pasobility Coaching and Consulting. Her work is focused on helping others take “fine steps” to gracefully turn their dreams and possibilities into Pasobilities – realized potential.
Lynne trained with Equine Alchemy (www.equinealchemy.com) and Master coach Lisa Murrell in the use of horses for Equine Assisted Learning.
As a personal and team coach, Lynne brings real world insight and experience gained from her work in companies large and small – start-ups such as Netscape and 150 year old energy companies such as Detroit Edison and MichCon. Lynne has built high performance teams in a variety of corporate cultures and specializes in coaching individuals and teams to maximize their performance and joy inside and outside the work environment.

Lynne Ellyn is the former Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at DTE Energy (NYSE: DTE). She has also held senior leadership positions at Organic, Inc, Netscape Communications, Xerox and Chrysler Corporation.
Lynne has an undergraduate degree from Oakland University and an Executive M.B.A. from Michigan State University. Currently enrolled in the Neuroscience of Leadership Post-Graduate Certificate program with Middlesex University.
